Architecture and Landscape
Architecture and landscape designed together, so the house sits in its setting and light reaches the rooms where you spend your day.
Luxury Residential Design by Pallavi Dean
OUT IN THE WORLD, EVERYONE GETS A VERSION OF YOU.
Your home should get the real one.
ABOUT LAIR
Personal by design.
Lair is Pallavi Dean’s private residential design studio. We take on a small number of homes each year, and each one has Pallavi’s direct authorship and close involvement. For us, this work is personal, because what we create has to feel personal to you.
OUR APPROACH
Your habits become a habitat.
We don’t start with style. We start by watching how you live: what you are drawn to, what you keep close, where you linger. How you move through the day, where you want light and where you want privacy. Your rituals become rooms. You find inspiration in nature, and we translate it into design. One detail leads to another.
“Not just functional. Not just beautiful. Yours.”
OUR SERVICES
From vision to detail.
Your whole home, from its architecture and landscape to the smallest detail inside.
Interior Design
Interiors shaped around your everyday life, your rituals and the things you keep close, with materials and details that are yours alone.
Design Supervision & Procurement
Close attention from design to handover. We guide the work on site and source every finish, piece of furniture and fitting, so the home is built as it was imagined.
AT THE HELM
An intimate creative vision.
Lair is led personally by Pallavi Dean and Kathryn Athreya. Pallavi leads the creative direction, and Kathryn makes sure every step of the client experience is as personal as the home itself, from first conversation to final handover.
